Citation: checking your sources

law thesis proofreading

Checking your sources One of the things our proofreaders do, which others don’t, is to check your sources. You might have cited the author of a book and the title in your footnote, but you have omitted the publisher and year. Usually our proofreaders will check on that and help you to ensure that all of your footnotes are complete. If your website has been incorrectly cited, or the ‘accessed date’ is missing, we can check the links and make sure your sources are all correctly cited. Your thesis, chapter, dissertation, essay or law review article has to be correctly sourced and incorrect/imcomplete sources could be a reason for your work being rejected.
